As a therapist my mission is to walk side by side you on your journey towards health and wholeness. Life presents us with many challenges and while we can't change negative situations from our past we will work together to gain insight and to resolve current challenges. By combining a variety of therapy approaches and techniques with a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere my hope is that you will feel comfortable exploring issues that have become overwhelming.
Whether you are experiencing a difficult life transition or are just ready to create a life of exuberance and joy, I look forward to working with you.
After earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Georgetown College I moved back to my hometown of Louisville and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. For the last thirteen years I have worked as a therapist in multiple settings and have gained invaluable experience. I trust fully in the innate tendency each person has to grow into their best self and am honored daily to join individuals and families who are on this journey.

the space where we will meet
I wrote a paper as a student in graduate school about my theory of change in the therapeutic process. Although my thinking has evolved since this time I wanted to share it with you so that if you were interested you could gain a better understanding of where I stand as a therapist.
